Belgian American Museum
In the Winter of 2018, we opened our Belgian American Museum. It is packed full of interesting traditional cultural pieces which include traditional historical clothing, photographs, paintings, pottery, dishes, posters, memorabilia, collections of military and athletic club photos, laces and much much more. Check out the photo gallery below for examples of our displays. The museum's hours are the same as those of the Buyse Library Research Center.
The Belgian American Museum Cataloging Project:
Our Belgian American Museum is packed full of interesting traditional cultural pieces, each of which need to be cataloged with photos and detailed descriptions. It is a fascinating, yet time-consuming project. Please consider helping us with this important work. Visit our Volunteer page for details!
